Created a Youtube channel "The Busy Gardener" in 2018, and while it hasn't generated the desired replacement income, it is a passion project. Stepped away from being a long time worship leader at a traditional church a couple years ago, forming a house church. Most recently have created our "legacy business", beginning to purchase rental real estate in the Midwest.

I met my wife at a film festival over spring break, we followed each other on Instagram, and quickly fell in love with each other’s stories. We got married in 2018 and have three kiddos. We base our lives in Wichita, Kansas and Central Texas and operate a luxury wedding photography and videography business as a husband and wife team. Early on in my Christian walk, I dealt with the sacred-secular divide a lot, feeling like work and business was a necessary evil to be put up with, but the actual spiritual stuff happened in a church building. About 5-6 years ago, I read several books that totally changed my perspective on work. I rediscovered the five-fold dominion mandate (Gen 1:26-28) and how it is still God's will for us today to be fruitful, multiply, fill, subdue, and rule this earth in His name. I feel like I'm having to catch up now in trying to build a healthy household with a robust economic engine. In my years of youth ministry, I've encountered hundreds of young men and realized that most of us don't have a clue where we are going and what we should be doing. This lack of direction bothers me deeply, and has driven me to help men discover and live out their God-given mission. I have a huge passion for all things related to fatherhood, which I consider to be central to our mission as men. I'm a visionary, idea-oriented guy that is always asking the question, "Imagine if..." and I never turn down the opportunity to brainstorm with others and talk about solutions to big problems. I read a lot. I'm interested in a lot of things, like regenerative ranching, action sports, and bass singing.
