Theme of the Week: What the Land of Israel can Teach us about Growing our Family Team

Our speakers lead tours to Israel on a regular basis, but for those who can’t make it to Israel right now, this week at camp will be the next best thing. We will provide an experience of what it’s like to travel around Israel, and, we will learn from the Holy Land how to develop a multigenerational family team.

During our chapel times, we'll be discussing Israel and how the land of Israel can shape a Family Team. 
Jeremy will be joined by Ed Kelley, veteran Executive Pastor and Executive Director for Lakeside Bible Camp.  Together they will be sharing insights they've both learned from their time in Israel and some of the practical take-aways for families in our culture today.

Meet Your Hosts:

The Pryor Family:

Jeremy met his wife April in Jerusalem in 1997 when they were students. They had an epiphany, realizing that the way we all do family in the West is mostly a failed experiment, and the Scriptures are calling us back to a bigger and better design. Since then they have been discipling, teaching, and impacting families in the greater Ohio region for years through various projects and resources. They’ve spent the last 26 years building Team Pryor together. They have five kids with 3 married: Kelsey (& Matt), Jackson (& Angel), Sydney (& Kobie), Elisa and Kaira. They have 3 grandbabies and counting! They live in a multigenerational house with Jeremy's parents in Fort Thomas, KY, just a few miles from Cincinnati, Ohio. They’ve founded and led several businesses and non-profits including Epipheo (a video production agency), Just Sew (a quilt shop), FamilyTeams.com (training content for families), and 1000 Houses (a network of Cincinnati disciple-making households), and The Story-Formed Life (a discipleship training resource).

Ed Kelley:

Ed Kelley has led many trips to Israel and is the Executive Director of Lakeside Bible Camp. Ed also was Jeremy’s youth pastor and much of Jeremy’s spiritual DNA came through the time Ed spent discipling Jeremy over the years. Ed has spoken at several conferences including the National YouthWorkers Convention; INLETS conference led by the FBI; Family Camps; Student Missions conferences; Men’s Retreats; and Apologetic conferences.
